What you get with the Diadem Books publishing package (£899§):
- 5 free books. Upon publication you'll receive five free copies of your paperback book. This is in addition to any free hardback copies that you would receive if you add the hardcover option. (You can order as many as you wish thereafter at the author's discounts.)
- Non-exclusive Contract: The publisher’s non-exclusive publishing agreement allows you to pursue arrangements with traditional publishers while enjoying a royalty of up to a generous 20% royalty depending on the retail price you choose for your book—higher than industry standards.
- Custom Cover: Your book will have a custom-designed, four-colour cover, created with your input, by the publisher’s professional book designers. You can submit your own ideas and/or pictures.
- UNLIMITED Copy editing: Regardless of amount of editing required up to 150,000 words, we will check for errors and (if required) give your manuscript a finished polish with our copy editing service. (Average novel size is 75,000 words.)
- Distribution: Your trade paperback book will have a unique ISBN number, as well as inclusion in RR Bowker's "Books in Print." This means that your book will appear on online retailers like Barnes & Noble and Amazon.com, and customers can order your book at over 25,000 traditional booksellers worldwide. If you choose the hardcover option, your hardcover book will also be available to order from online retailers like Barnes & Noble and Amazon.com, and over 25,000 traditional booksellers worldwide.
- Great Discounts: You get great volume discounts when you purchase your own books for personal distribution and sale.
- Quick Availability: Your book is ready for sale in just 90 days or less—months faster than industry standards.
- Author Web Pages: You will receive an author biography page and a book detail page in the Diadem Books website.
Optional Features:
- Hardcover (£299): Choose this option and your manuscript will also be produced as a 6x9 hardcover book. The hardcover format features a durable cloth binding, an embossed spine and a full colour dust jacket. [OR you can choose a hardcover version instead of a paperback, inclusive in the £900 fee.]
- Graphics. If you wish to have graphics (pictures) included in the text body of the book, these are at an additional cost of £79 per 25 graphics (maximum of 50). The graphics within the book are only reproduced in black and white (greyscale), though the cover is in full colour. You are welcome to use your own cover design, bearing in mind that the graphic or image needs to be in TIF format in 300dpi (dots per square inch). However, the cover design team is excellent at implementing your own ideas for the cover—all you need do is describe the way you would like the cover to look. You can also submit a sample picture or drawing as a guide for the cover artist. There is no extra charge for the cover design, or for the use of your own graphic.
