It is doubtful if there
has been an age when the
world has been so full
of Christian books.
There seems to be no end
to them and they deal
with every aspect of the
Christian life. You name
it—they are there on the
bookshelves of religious
bookshops which seem to
have mushroomed in
recent years. Yet books
on daily readings do not
appear to be so popular
as they once were among
the Christian public;
however, these readings
are short, pithy and
powerful and are meant
for the busy Christian
to have a “seed-thought”
planted in his or her
mind at the beginning or
end of each day.
