Book Description
Living through the years of adversity, Dianne Nice takes you on
a voyage of Laura's life as an abused and unwanted child with a
disability. Searching for love leads to disappointment and
abuse as the heroine clings to her faith and the hope of being
reconciled with the children she has lost. Always led to
believe she was "stupid", Laura proves her mother wrong when she
achieves great success in her career. Never able to discuss her
past without being judged as unfit, she struggles to
re-establish a bond with the little girls she had for so many
years been separated from. A shocking discovery leaves Laura
with indifference for the woman she had called mother.
“A
heart-warming story that has its roots in the harsh yet
beguiling landscape of Nova Scotia.” – Charles Muller, Diadem
Books.
