These pages not only make available books for you to acquire for your own reading pleasure. They also constitute a forum for writers to air their views on writing and publishing, and a place where they can tell the world about their books and show samples or tit-bits from their works. Above all, Diadem Books presents an opportunity for writers to publish their own books in an attractive paperback format through Writers Club Press. The publishing package, which includes editing, will enable your book to become available on a world-wide basis through Amazon Books, Barnes and Noble, as well as various on-line bookstores.

• THE NEWS PAGE.  We will be especially pleased to hear from small presses and self-publishers. If you are a writer or a self-publisher, the  News page (see the button at the top) will help you learn from others in the same field. You may wish to use the News page yourself to tell others about yourself and hand out some helpful advice! The News page is in effect a "Newsletter"  where you might learn of helpful organisations such as the Author-Publisher Network, or find lists of other sites on the world-wide web where you might glean some good advice or get some help about your own publishing venture. You might like to tell us about your own site, or exchange banners

• NOVELS.  The Novel pages are where you have the opportunity to say something about the novel(s) you have written (or about the novel(s) you are selling). This may be in the form of a brief summary of the plot or by way of a synopsis. This can be followed by a sample chapter, usually the opening chapter, or some extracts from the novel which illustrate some of the main themes or action. Naturally you'll want to select samples that will display your writing at its best. A reader or prospective purchaser will have the opportunity to sample the book, just as he or she would if picking up the book and glancing through it in a bookshop or library. An illustration of the cover may help to catch the eye!

• POETRY :  SELECTIONS OR ANTHOLOGIES. The pages devoted to poetry may be for displaying specific poems you have written, or for samples from an anthology which you have had published or which you may have self-published. Poetry anthologies are the most difficult to sell, so this is a good opportunity to advertise yourself as a poet! You may like to say something about your poetic vision or style, and what has driven you to write.

• SELF-HELP OR  SELF-IMPROVEMENT BOOKS.  Self-help, self-improvement or "how-to" books are perhaps the easiest to sell. People will want to read your book if you have a specific skill, or special knowledge, to impart. You may have written a book on fly-fishing, or on how to acquire and manage your own hotel! Or perhaps you've developed a business plan that's made you a lot of money! People will want to know how you did it.

          These pages will also list a number of works currently available in inexpensive soft-cover form.
