It is true that, with modern
technology, we can now reach
the farthest corners of the
world more readily, to
spread the Gospel of our
Christ Jesus: but have we
progressed in our personal
knowledge of God and His
wonderful Son, Jesus? These,
and many more questions
relating to the practice of
our Christian faith in the
modern world, are explored
in this book. Barbara
Fleming draws frequently on
illuminating passages from
the Testaments, and
sprinkles her text liberally
with quotations from
inspirational faith writing
through the ages, as well as
stories from her own
experience. Join her as she
sets out on a quest to
define the Kingdom of God
and its meaning to us today.

Book description:
This is an entirely new
approach to biblical
scholarship - the bible
comes alive! Three
magnificent characters step
out of the pages of this
book, heroes of the bible!
They are Jacob, the Prince
of God, Elijah the
stout-hearted fighter for
God against the bloodthirsty
devil worship of Jezebel,
and Paul who lived and died
for his beloved Jesus
Christ. How much we too can
learn from these gallant
champions and from these
riveting stories of their
courage and victorious
overcoming! And may this
uplift and encourage us too
in our own personal battles
against the demands and
problems of our own
hazardous age.

This is a collection of
reflections written to;
express, control and attempt
to understand feelings,
emotions, hopes and despair.
All words that would never
be spoken, as love is
sought, embraced and denied,
but to record the sorrow and
ecstasy and in some ways a
journey of discovery between
the two. As a contrast a
collection of expressions of
the real meaning of
Christmas which words found
voice when read out during
Watch Night Services on
Christmas Eve.

The moral purpose of Charles
Kingsley's novels is
pronounced because he was a
preacher, and more
specifically, a teacher. He
was above all a preacher of
stirring didactic sermons.
It is the didactic content
of his writings-in his
sermons, his novels, and his
essays on natural
theology-which is the study
of this work. One too often
forgets that Kingsley was
not, in the first instance,
a social and political
reformer. As a preacher, and
as a writer, he was
pre-eminently a teacher-a
theologian, yes, but more
importantly, a Christian
didactician. He was not an
evangelical preacher, yet
the Christian gospel was at
the heart of his teachings
and his moral exhortations.
This work attempts to look
at the Christian message
that was the inspiration
behind his socio-religious
gospel. Writing at the time
of Charles Darwin, Kingsley
saw no reason to lose his
sound Christian faith with
the emergence of Darwin's
theory of evolution.
Instead, he could accept it
as a means to a divine end,
another example of how
Providence might bring about
the Kingdom of God on earth.

Here is a truly
inspiring and
illuminating
portrayal of the
life of our Saviour
Jesus as the real,
living man, who
shone with love, joy
and compassion for
all who he met with.
We see him in such
wonderfully deep
companionship with
his fishermen
friends as he
travels the lovely
Galilean
countryside. We
follow Him, the
confident,
triumphant preacher
in the temple
precincts - ever
discomforting the
hostile priests and
elders. Lastly, we
follow His final
sacrifice through
the eyes of His
leading disciples,
John and Peter,
witnessing the
ordeal of His
fearful suffering
and death - but then
transformed into
overwhelming joy and
resolution by His
resurrection and the
supreme gift of His
Father's Holy Spirit
to become the
harbingers of the
light of our
Christian faith for
all time!

Religion was transformed
into Relationship for the
author following an
encounter with God in 1977.
The Bible, no longer a dusty
book on the shelf, became
the Living Word of God to
her and God's tool in
transforming her life. From
the beginning she felt
inspired to write things
down - jottings, notes on
Bible verses, and
testimonies to the amazing
work of God in her life and
the lives of others. She had
a dream - one day she would
write a book. This book is
the fulfilment of that
dream, maybe just a
beginning. Her motive in
telling her story of what
God has done is first to
give Him all the Glory, but
also to give away what she
has received, that others
too may be blessed,
forgiven, healed and
transformed by the same
Living God, through His Son
Jesus Christ.

Seeing
God through the Human Body
is a head-on confrontation with Charles Darwin’s
Theory of Evolution. In it, a medical doctor and
creationist uses his learning and insight as a
doctor to defuse the theory of evolution and
make a case in favour of God Almighty, in the
creation of the human body. Appealing to common
sense and drawing upon his medical knowledge,
the author argues that the functioning of the
various organs of the body are so intricate
that they could only have come about through
remarkably clever forethought and planning.

Thank You Jesus Books .
Published: Feb 2010 |
In this readable book the
author, a Christian doctor,
revisits the Healing Miracles of
the Doctor Who Knows No Bounds,
and brings vividly to mind the
dramatic and very real impact
that Jesus made in His healing
ministry. The value of the book
is the inspiration that comes
from the author's sincere
conviction that prayer changes
things and that through prayer
we can be in touch, not just
with the hem of Jesus' garment,
but with the very loving heart
of Almighty God.
The author stresses that the
Healing Ministry of Doctor Jesus
did not end with His death,
resurrection and ascension and
that even to this day those who
genuinely invoke His Name in
childlike faith can expect
astonishing miracles, including
the healing of diseases that
have baffled conventional
medical practice.

This little book is a personal testimony,
bearing witness to how the author's faith opened
doors and released the power of God -- a God who
loves and cares, who guides us to fulfil the
special plan he has for each one of us.
On one level, it
explores the essential principles for personal
success and achievement. It’s a record of how
these principles worked for the author. How did
he achieve his three university doctorates? How
did he apply himself, what research methods did
he use? On a superficial, materialistic plane,
how did he acquire his Rolls Royce, or his hotel
in Scotland?

The protagonist couldn't help falling in love,
against his will. Those who knew him better
tried to stop him, to draw him back, to tell him
it was wrong, against the Law of God. But they
couldn't stop him. Because the affair was with
God. Or was it? Perhaps the whole affair was
just part of his imagination.

Have
you lost a child?
20 Jul 2009
|
Have you ever lost a child?
For anyone who has ever lost a
child, this is a very comforting
book. If God is a God of love,
why would he not intervene to
save an innocent child's life?
Perhaps we don't realise that in
many cases he has done just
that—but what about those times
when the child died, as a result
of an accident, cot death, or,
worst case scenario, through
abuse and murder? — Charles
Muller, Diadem Books.
