Nick Berry’s tongue-in-cheek divine comedy is certainly more readable and enjoyable than The Satanic Verses! The ancient Greeks would have approved the apocalyptical themes and theatrical settings. The novel is a roller-coaster ride through heaven and hell—a refreshing change from the Dawkins Delusion, and provokes some interesting questions into the reality of divine existence.
